Whenever Do We Grow

Today I believe we need some subtle growth to course through our veins, as we connect over some similar roots, ones we tangled so gently, with humility.

I hope you enjoy my poem:

With your seeds of progress, who justifies a fresh, natural growth

Let the roots wrap around your chiseled skin,

Finish the blaze of mistakes trickling down your ground . . .

Like a murky inferno absent from a stricken stage,

Attempting to nourish life, because it was the only offering we gave,

We always thought of you as creating some new industry,

Speculating and crafting wondrous ideas creatively,

Never could doubt your unflinching gaze,

As fruitful pursuits brightened your days,

So Today we whisper beside our crops ear,

“Planting for our future to flourish my dear.”
