Forget About That

They all fall down long ago
They all miss taken slumber toes
lie down on the comfort you mold
grain by grain, time slips out of our mortal folds
beg for the past you have
we all know the torment you hid in the back
fond of a past marked with forbidden wonders
livelier lights that burned past the shackles of present we can’t escape
glorious strives we finally make, blind with the ashes of a refined, clean slate
with the light you gave, no soul could reach you fake face
where’s the bruises that defined your fate
where’s the truth that shattered this perfect, fragile, chase
for growth to flourish, you need to make more mistakes
or else you’ll end up a weak and fluffy heart, torn apart by the slightest, honest graze

Remove yourself from the visage you wish you could be
The beauty of a human leaks from your bloods ink
let your story runnith over the horizon we seek
