Our Poem: Star Searching

We aren’t as far away as they might tell you

Look inside of the expanse of your mind, and you’ll find the proof

Vast and large, the entire world could evaporate beyond the stars


Nothing so free could be defined with such simple terms
Maybe the hope lies within us, begging us to become a part
Waiting for our call, Found among the fantasy we all wish stained
reality




Lost for children’s dreams,
When we used to be younger we could truly see
What wonders of the universe are within our reach


Find this breathtaking space for yourself
So you and I can drift with the finest asteroids
Crashing throughout the void of life that held us back
Free from the shackles of the past
