Weight Of Water

Dreamt of dreaming of driving of drown
We’re flying with soaring skies, eclipsed under the moon
Wander fueled from earnest drought
Those promises everyone made and forgot

I could almost taste it, consume it,
feel this inside of the hunger that we carry around
in our soulless, starving bodies . . . . .
When did the honestly cease?



Worn inside of a bubble, gasping for air
Every reaching arm felt weightless under despair
So I fell apart, flooded with the expectations and crowds
My image effectively scorned itself,

Who ever feels empty and asks for help
And not a soul answers but yourself

The sea absorbed every single side of me that could still breathe
Made up of a desire to become complete . . . .
Tides flooded inside my soul,
washing away every false title I hold

Waking up from a storm I found my heart had returned
Claimed from false fronts and fabled truth
By myself I knew I had nothing to prove
So I started my new pursuit
To help you find YOU

Hey Everyone,

I hope some of you folks liked the visual poem from Yesterday Because I will be posting more of those visual poems because I feel like it’s necessary to have a bit of variety on this blog.

Any how, I hope this poem inspires some independent study of oneself. Too often in life we are paraded around by different standards, ideals, and judgment that never is our own.

We need to center our personal foundation, separating from all of the roles we enable everyday, to find who we are inside.

I’ve recently embarked on this journey of self discovery and realization, which some of the insights come from journaling and reflecting on my daily life.

I would highly recommend trying some reflecting of some kind, because it really helps you to center where all of your emotions are among the chaos.
