Lost sounds #OSEWritingChallenge

Today I experienced something particular; Sharing creative ideas in person and together writing on the same prompt

The prompt style we decided on was:

write any piece of work based off of one, single, word
1/2 of the words we used today was

Composer

2/2 poem here
So I call any of my fellow writers to also write using the same prompt

Lost Sounds

That last somber sound
left chords of joy unbound
swung among innocent lines
not a single note was found

whisking away curtains stung
for whispers still echo
inside that ungrateful crowd
maybe fortissimo swelled loud
maybe the chorus stunk around
maybe my steady arms unwound

or maybe this audience’s prudent senses
refuse to bow down







that glossy metallic pillar of hope once seated such a sour experience
so soothing mumbles fled
leaving arrogant tunes with no friends around
