HAVE YEE FORGOTEEN?
how had the passing glaces stole distant rays of fresh, untamed fire
like that pigeon who kept delivering any of the messages
those wings never flew away
only towards for cradles, young body
but you didn’t want to see
SO WE STOOD BEHIND
just beyond the pastures of fruitless soil
look at the trees, they search like a desolate toil
because they never grew properly, as their eyes screamed toward the future, they forgot the hopeful young days where everybody carefree and played among all of the other innocent sons
had they remembered those days, they would of stayed young
but within their earnest attempt to decipher our existence
they fell beyond the logic, and became distant
And like any loving father who truly left their children to their devices
He sat in the corner waiting for a triumphant return
had the son forgot the love that he had when he was born
those tears never left His humble, soft, searching care
but he wanted to figure about whatever wasn’t near
Maybe the warmth scared him away
He thought even when I hated him,
He stayed
And all of this time he never turned around
Even though the fireplace stayed awake and inbound
awaiting the chance to nurture any cold souls
How much I wish you didn’t act old
Come back anyday, my love
He has waited and will always
Until
That
Fateful
Day
When they crash beneath their lost understanding
it’s ok dear boy,
Come hither and I will gift thee all of the comfort you searched near and there
none of it sufficed, so you came back here
And I won’t leave you
Like everyone else did
