Trite, towering souls
Or rather
Troubling, veracious poles
Or rather questions by the die
We kept fast pace, briskly stepping towards some truth
Something, something we couldn’t see
Something that swept up everybody up in a frenzy of lust and tears
Had they had ears, they could hear the lost tides cruising among seeking hearts
Had they found a current,
No they only forgot
like ashes aflame, seeking a earnest source of eternal flame
They waited for some ounce of coal, wood, or fire to change
They never listened, anyway
I wanted to provide that flame by day by day by night and broken chains
n, never like the righteous flames from divine minds
They accused the just of crimes
Why had they done that to every single one of the loyal signs of the times
Like everyone wants a pleasure fueled light,
INTENSE, but barely bright
sparks that fly by in an instant , yet the craved the chase so they missed it
And mock the simmering candle b the porch
When they left it, the flames still endured
honestly and lively
lovely and brightly
Like a true light
the only one who wouldn’t die
