Grief
That lonesome tear
Needlessly large
Needlessly near
Just like an attached fear
Not actually near, but lost in fear
How had you let the enemy near
When they crept close, they forced out your dreaded tears
Tearing out the dark that you held near
Why hadn’t you turned away from fear
That being you held very dear
Had you been born, you would of seen very clear
Behind shadows, the light draws near
Eager to vanquish every grimy dim fear
For He is the truth,
For He will never disappear
For there is no dark in Him,
Everlasting glory forever near
This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.
