It’s actually absurd and wonderful that people can attach to any activity; as long as other willing and familiar opponents can share the experience with them. I am no exception, and this sort of spontaneous connection that people can make with others is ingrained to my enduring gamer heart. Ever since my family and I first battled our first Maverick with fervor; wearing it down in a fury of stubborn, 8-bit pellets in MegaMan X, no matter when we played any video game, another person would stay by your side, maintaining a external source of energy that kept you beating level after level.
Even if no one is available for back-seat presence, take solace with being part of the gaming collective, because no matter if your the 1st or 1000th person facing some breathtaking scenery, challenging boss, or confusing puzzle;
Someone has or will learn from becoming part of a similar experience.
Super Smash Bros. cautiously speaking, you would think would not be praised simply because of it’s bold name. Super, admittedly since I believe the word is associated with superheros normally (Superman while may not be known by everybody, could serve as a pretty standard variant of a superhero) holds a light connotation, but also can completely amplify the impact of the word following. If someone walked up to you and said they were going to “Super Smash” you, how would you react? I would be utterly confused that this person used “Super” instead of any other synonym of “more,” but also be a tad wary of their strength because if they could possibly “Super Smash,” not just normally smash my person then I’ll cautiously rationalize with and attempt diffusing the situation.
Oh Well, While not yet I will eventually catch hold of a copy of Super Smash Bros Ultimate and join some of my fellow nerds on the Battlefield, trading blows until only one of us is left remaining.
Let our fists replicate how much respect I have for your drive,
Every clash of mind and soul we share, my stocks crave this fight,
Observing millions of other lobbies beginning their endless digital dance,
You could even aim for the belt, conquering colossals if you can
Let our screens mirror how much we share in common,
Every second of wins and loses we share, my persistence craves this battle,
Observing tons of other replays manifesting over their endless rivalry,
You could even aim for a friendship, one forged between you and me.
