I Ran across this particular natural, rocky path, perched finely against a separate, yet similar concrete path today. This leads me to ponder how regardless of what differences in origin, race, religion, etc. we could find something similar about us within another. As each of you start your days, celebrate the humanity we all share across the world, and cut one another some slack too ok? You never know what trials may impend someones progress.
Enjoy the start of a new, clean day and make the most of it, because tomorrow you won’t have the opportunity.
Any different between your goals and mine?
Of course we thought it mattered how apart we became with time,
No longer reachable when we became busy with our separate life’s,
Feverishly parched, tormented inside a sea of doubts and wine,
No matter how lonely we stained, our ink ran violently by the lovers river,
Many others before us handicapped with a similar pain,
Who created this seductive, hidden place,
Maybe when feelings stopped mattering and life kicked us to the curve,
Our stubborn intention manifested a sacred space
Some lovers chose drowning away their choice,
If only they realized refusing their obvious appraisal of
Robust and Unquenchable feelings,
Drastically magnified it’s voice,
Us two kept our future for ourselves,
No one else could ever deter what potential we would of had,
Had one of our careers kindly stooped in it’s tracks,
Better we were patient than rushing towards youthful dreams,
Maybe in another life, we would nourish our destined seed.
